I stayed thinking of what I wrote yesterday, about an excuse, “healing will be a process”. I could remember only one time when the healing did not occur at once, it was when Jesus healed a blind man and first he saw people like trees, so Jesus did it again and then the man had got his sight. It is as we pray for the person, check if something has happened, if not, or if only an improvement, we pray again. But I still have to take back my statement. The most wonderful thing is instant healing. But when Jesus healed the ten men with leprosy, it is obvious that when they turned to go and show themselves to the priests, they body did not look healed. On the way they saw healing manifest.. and one turned back to thank Jesus. So there were those times when Jesus said a word and the person left with that word to go home and find the sick healed. Yes, they got healed when Jesus said the word, but the one who asked for prayer had to leave with the word, no one sent them a text or status update on FB, they left in faith.
So don’t lose courage if the healing does not manifest at once, but as well, don’t stay passively waiting. Ask God for a word to your situation. Ask what He says about your situation and let His word become your Truth, meditate on it, act on it, His word is the only real thing to put our faith on.
